Shrimp Boats, the Composer and an HDR

This is an HDR image I did in Darien, GA using the Composer, Double Glass Optic at f5.6 on a Nikon D-300s all resting on a Vanguard Alta Pro 284CT tripod.
I am really enjoying the Composer for HDR work. The effects of the program and the tonality of the lens work really well together.

David,

Would never have thought this was an HDR image if you hadn't said so. And this is a good thing. The image screams "great" not "HDR".

Thanks all for the kind comments. I do several types of HDR, one of which is using the "natural" preset in Photomatix Pro. If you don't see that option in your details enhancer get the latest update, it's free to update your program. I enjoy doing the natural look for some landscapes just to enhance the tonal range.

Totally agree with Rich. The tonality of the image is super, but it doesn't scream HDR, which too many images do.

Very nicely done, indeed it's a very subtle HDR, great work!

Thanks Steve, Bjorn, and Codrin. I am doing about 50% of my work now as HDR and have found toning it down really makes it more palatable.
